Avengers: Endgame is coming
"Part of the journey is the end."
As 'trailer-made' lines go, that utterance from Tony Stark in the new Avengers film is pretty perfect isn't it?
The latest in Marvel's pantheon of superhero flicks - it's called Avengers: Endgame - unveiled its first trailer at the weekend and the internet has been - quite rightly - abuzz. If you've not seen it yet then take a look above.
There is plenty in there to whet the appetite. Tony appears to be lost in space (no idea what happened to the Guardians of the Galaxy), Captain America has shaved, Natasha Romanoff is doing lots of pondering and both Hawkeye and Ant-Man are back.
And that's just for starters.
I have no doubt that in the 48 hours since this was released the global network of superhero superfans have torn the trailer apart frame by frame for clues (it does look like techno-whizz and Black Panther superstar Shuri might be unaccounted for following the events of Infinity War), but safe to say even a casual watching of this is enough to whet the appetite.
Still no clue what Thanos is up to now or how the last great hope Captain Marvel - whose trailer dropped the other day - will fit in, but I certainly can't wait to find out.
