Vegan brands to keep an eye out for
Updated: Jan 20, 2020

I know, I know, you are online and don't want to think about the fact that you can't eat half your favourite things because you went vegan for January.
What if I told you it is possible to eat treats and keep your resolution - whether it is a lifestyle change or a one-month challenge. In my adventures into the domain of veganism, I have discovered a few brands you are going to want to look out for.
Magnum
What? I kid you not amigo, these guys do vegan ice cream and it is really good.
Ben & Jerry's or Jude's
Sticking with the ice cream theme as it is something which lots of new and part-time vegans instantly dismiss, these brands both do great vegan offerings. Make sure to read the label though, obviously not all their stuff is vegan.
Alpro or Oatly
Navigating milk can be a challenge as you dip your toe into the world of veganism. Oatly are the masters of oat milk, while Alpro do a great one and their almond offering is decent too.
Quorn
One of the big players of the game, but be careful as a lot of their stuff is vegetarian rather than vegan. The fish fillets are ok, the burgers are fine, the chicken pieces are great, the bacon is even better. Use the mince but make sure you chuck in plenty of herbs and flavouring.
Sun-Pat or Whole Earth
I have recommended peanut butter as a staple food for your vegan lifestyle, but some of them are not up to scratch - or even vegan. These two are.
On top of this, lots of big brands are getting on board, with Subway, KFC and Burger King all going big for Veganuary. Give some love to the ones already playing the game though, Pizza Express and Wagamama have been offering great vegan options for a while.
